Etheos is the 5th generation of VDA’s platform. Its cloud-based infrastructure simplifies accessibility, monitoring and updating process of the Guest Room Management System (GRMS) allowing the supervision of the system from any device connected to the network.

Impress your hotel guests from the time one check-in at the hotel front desk. Our Hotel Guest Room Management Solutions allow hotel operators to manage guest rooms automatically in a wiser way.

Create a cozy environment, turn on the air-conditioning in the guest room automatically once the guest has completed check-in procedure at the front desk. Smartly enable the pre-programmed “Welcome Mode” once the guest open the guest room door, set all lighting brightness to 80%, open curtains and blinds to show the window view and adjust the in-room air-conditioning to 22 °C - Mid fan speed.
Access Control
RFID TECHNOLOGY: VDA Group’s Access Control system is based on the RFID technology, also known as transponder reader: when the guest swipes the key-card, the reader recognizes the code and, if it matches with the ones stored in the room’s database, the door strike is released, and the door can be opened.
BLE TECHNOLOGY: The latest technology for the Access Control is the substitution of the key-card with the guest’s smartphone, using BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology.

ENTERPLEASE: The VDA smartphone app for both Apple and Android stores, allows you to access your room in total safety and without necessarily having to go through the Hotel reception. The new Access Control system, which uses a chip capable of reading both 13.56 MHz RFID and key codes encrypted via BLE from a smartphone, guarantees maximum flexibility, safety and ease of use to the client.

Light Control
Every year a new type of LED/protocol enters into the market, as well as low energy consumption bulbs, all requiring a particular type of lighting control.

Climate Control
When guests finished check-out from the hotel, the room status will automatically change to “Unoccupied”, and the intelligent room control unit (RCU) system will enable the preset “Vacant” scenario immediately. Hotel operators can limit the in- room control on the temperature and lighting effect, aiming to reduce energy consumption and operational costs.

SETUP AND CONFIGURATION TOOLS
All the configuration tools of Etheos and Nucleus controllers are accessible from a web interface and are cloud-based therefore configurations are possible even without being present within the Hotel and without having the system installed. This allows installers to make the most of the time available and significantly limit the hours spent on site.
